CoverGirl World interview
My name is: Addyson

Q:Why and How did you get started in modeling?

ANS: I started modeling so that I could earn money to pay for vet school because I want to be a vet some day. I’m also doing modeling and acting because it is fun. My mom got me started modeling by posting a resume on a website. She then got me an agent who would only send me to things that required someone to look 13 years old. I don’t look 13 years old!

Q:Did you always want to be a model or was their something else you wanted to be or do?

ANS: Like I said earlier I want to be a vet when I grow up and I need more money for vet school. I would like to model, act, sing or be in commercials because it is fun.

Q:If you could give advice to girls who want to be models and don’t know how to get started, what would be the most important thing you would tell them?

ANS: Before you even make the decision of becoming a model, really think about the consequences. Models do NOT have the easy life even though you may think they do!

Q: Growing up were you the one teased and picked on and why? Or were you somehow always included in the crowd or left out and why?

ANS: I was always the one getting teased for some reason. Maybe it was because I was kind of dorky (I really was!) or the smallest in my school but truthfully I don’t know. I never was left out of the crowd. I had 3 best friends and several other good friends.

Q:Please say one or two things about your ethics and morals.

ANS: I always try to be nice to everyone. I believe that no one should judge each other depending on someone’s clothes, beauty, popularity, and ethnic culture. It is just wrong.

Q: Where do you hope to be in 5 years?

ANS: In five years I hope to be graduating High school and moving into Michigan State University or another great college.

In 500 words or less write below about yourself (i.e: things you like to do sports, hobbies ,special talents, personal interests etc.) and why you want to be a model/talent with our management company.

I like to sing I like to be in plays and/or musicals. I would maybe like to be in a commercial. I’ve won singing awards for singing in competitions and have had solos in a few children’s musicals. I was in my future high school’s play this winter as an eighth grader. It was huge, we had sold out shows of over 800 people a night. I take private singing lessons and have won increasing scholarships to a fine arts camp for the last three summers for alto voice. As minors I’ve taken acting, art and this summer I will get a chance to take Shakespearean acting. I also play the flute and have won a first division award for a duet I did with a friend.

I am a tomboy. I love video games and personally I want to prove to the world that 1. Girls can be good at Mario kart or Mario party 8 on their Wii. 2. I want to prove to all kids that you shouldn’t judge someone based on their appearance, clothes, money, or how much make-up they use if any at all (girls only). And 3. That no one should make fun of skinny and short people!

I play soccer to get my butt off of the couch and like to write, draw, read, take pictures, and play with my dogs too. I’m very good at drawing but not as good as my friend, Elsa. Both of my parents are teachers, so I like to travel a lot. We’ve been all over the US and in most of the Carribean countries. I love to travel to different states and locations and meet new people.

I would like to be represented as a model or talent with Covergirl Model Management so I can be represented with someone who will send me on interviews based on the age I look, not the age I am. Just because I’m 13 turning 14 doesn’t mean I look that old. I’ve been turned down for jobs because I’m way too small and look too young. I need a company who will represent me and get my name and talent out to the people who want a kid like me representing their products!
