Modeling has always been my passion. Ever since high school I have always wanted to be in front of the camera. I have done some modeling but nothing major. I feel I have the ambition and drive to become a successful model. I am 23 years old, I work a part time job, but my main focus is acting and modeling. I can dance and I'm an OK singer. My special skills are gymnastics, track & field, yoga, and athletics in general. I also write and currently have a few of my own pieces i am working on. I would love to write for cover girl, maybe a column on actors tips from interviewing Casting Directors. I'd love to be involved in any way i can to get my foot in the door, seeing casting directors and getting booked! I need new head shots and to develop a reel for my website so i can show footage of my talents. Looking at my pictures, you will see I have a great smile and I also have a great personality. This is my opportunity and I'm ready to give it 110%.
CoverGirl World interview
My name is: Krista J
Q:Why and How did you get started in modeling?
ANS: I’ve always been a girly girl and when I was a little, I used to put on fashion shows for my family. Now I’d like to do the same but as a professional.
Q:Did you always want to be a model or was their something else you wanted to be or do?
ANS: I love performance of all kinds. My mother was a model, so I did some modeling with her when I was younger and i knew it was something i would pursue. I became incredibly talented with gymnastics at a young age too, and decided to train for the 2008 Olympics. My training put modeling on hold until now.
Q:If you could give advice to girls who want to be models and don’t know how to get started, what would be the most important thing you would tell them?
ANS: To do it because you enjoy it and never stop until you get what you want from it.
Q: Growing up were you the one teased and picked on and why? Or were you somehow always included in the crowd or left out and why?
ANS: Teased by my three brothers constantly! But in school I was very friendly and outgoing. I remember coming home from elementary school one day with a list of numbers on a piece of paper excited to call up all my new friends and then my mom says to me, “Did you get their names? This is just a list of phone numbers.” I may not have been the most popular girl in school, but I never turned down a friend and I was happy with those who would accept me for who i was.
Q:Please say one or two things about your ethics and morals.
ANS: Follow your heart and dreams, and don’t let anyone or anything prevent them. Never be afraid to stand up for yourself, because if you won’t then no one else will. Be who you are, be yourself, because no one else is like you and that is special.
Q: Where do you hope to be in 5 years?
ANS: I hope that i am happy and still enjoying my career in acting and modeling. Of course everyone hopes to be famous one day, but I just want to make a living out of this career and be able to support myself and my goals.
