In 500 words or less write below about yourself ( ie: things you like to do sports, hobbies ,special talents, personal intrests etc.) and why you want to be a model/talent with our management company.
Start here: I remember being that shy, quiet girl with glasses and braces and watching America's Next Top Model on t.v. I would think, "Oh! How I wish I could be that girl right there!" From that moment, I tried to do everything I could to help myself come out of that turtle shell I had hidden in for so long! I joined choir, joined basketball and later cheerleading, I started to work with my artistic skills more and even won Judge's Choice Award with second and third place for my art at the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona in 2010! I loved to do these hobbies all the time and when I graduated, I painted the back drop for my entire senior class. Bettering myself for modeling helped me better myself in all aspects of my life and that is why I so passionately want to pursue a career in the industry. It helped me come out of my shell to become an outgoing individual. Now, I love to get out of the house, see places, explore the beautiful places here in New Mexico, meet new people, try new hobbies (i.e baseball, soccer, cross-country running, or even just being a comedian for a day), and I continue to learn new things and gain new hobbies. All this came from watching a modeling show and now I hope to be the best I could be in the modeling industry.
CoverGirl World interview
My name is: krystal M
Q:Why and How did you get started in modeling?
ANS: I use to watch America’s Next Top Model all the time and I remember thinking, ” That is what I want to be able to do!” So every since that time, I have been trying to use all the resources I have to get into the industry.
Q:Did you always want to be a model or was their something else you wanted to be or do?
ANS: I always did want to be a model, but I never thought it was practical for a small town girl like me, so I started going to school for a medical laboratory technician. However, I was never satisfied and I still tried to pursue a career in modeling.
Q:If you could give advice to girls who want to be models and don’t know how to get started, what would be the most important thing you would tell them?
ANS: Never ever give up, always keep trying and searching for your big break because true effort will pay off.
Q: Growing up were you the one teased and picked on and why? Or were you somehow always included in the crowd or left out and why?
ANS: I was teased and left out a lot. I was made fun of for having big teeth and other Native Americans kids that went to school with me would tease me for being light skin. I don’t know why I was left out so much, but eventually I moved passed it and started being happy just for myself instead of others.
Q:Please say one or two things about your ethics and morals.
ANS: My ethics coincide with my morals. I believe in honesty, fairness, respect for my elders and peers, truthfulness, and respect for myself as well.
Q: Where do you hope to be in 5 years?
ANS: In five years, I would hope to have a successful career in modeling, being recognized for my talent by everyone I associate with, making my family proud that I am pursuing my dreams, and most of all feeling proud of myself for doing what I love.
Q: Add something to your interview here that we haven’t covered:
ANS: I would just like to say that I am very determined and ambitious to do my very best and be all that I could be. I would love to be considered and recognized for trying to excel in the modeling industry and I am willing to try what ever is asked of me to show how serious I am about modeling and chasing after my dreams!
